Camera: Polaroid: Spectra SE
Film: T-1200
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
I must have stared at that storefront window for at least five minutes, thinking of a nice way to capture it. I saw a pair of girls coming from my left and a single woman on my right. We all knew what was going to happen. So I waited patiently for one of them to pass. The girl on my right pulled out this big book and started to read it. The girls on my left the other hand started to speed walk my way into the shot. The woman not pictured squealed quite loudly as she tried to duck out of the shot. Her friend on the other hand gave up and stopped caring.
The Swedish are a silly breed. Fashion is such a big deal and yet, it's just a front to look normal because most people seem afraid to interact in public for fear of... whatever. While I was there I had time to sit down with a few people and discuss the social differences of Sweden & USA. Apparently, we Americans come off as fake from our outgoing nature in public. I'd much rather have it that way then be afraid of interacting with strangers.
